The development of The Woods at Douglas was planned in concert with efforts to reclaim more than 35 acres of land near an existing residential area and adjacent to a large commercial development under construction in the rolling terrain of southern Wyandotte County. 

The Result: A planned residential system with cul-de-sac defined neighborhoods.  Homes have been designed to fit comfortably on individual lots ranging in size from 7,150 square feet to 17,960 square feet.

Lottings were established to take full advantage of the topography created on the property, providing majestic views of the downtown Kansas City skyline.  Interior views, i.e., property to property, have been oriented with strategic placement of individual home footprints, which are set on multiple set-backs to eliminate any similarity in tract-housing.
